Digital Tools for Handbuilding
I use digital tools to make studio work more consistent and repeatable while still keeping the handmade feel.
- Lithophanes: I use 3D-printed lithophanes to create image-based molds, from decorative tiles to sprig molds.
- Torrify: I design shrinkage rulers and slump molds in my own app.
- Cricut: I cut precise templates and stencils for slab building and glazing.

I’m putting together guides to help other potters use these digital workflows:
- How to use Torrify to make pottery tools
- Using plastic 3D printed molds in pottery
- A collection of the best 3D prints for ceramics
